JungleGuys is for LGBTQ+ people aged 50 and over, and for allies who share our values. Above all, it is a safe, inclusive space to grow older as yourself.
- You are thinking seriously about where and with whom you want to spend your retirement years.
- You want real community: shared meals, mutual support, good neighbors—not an anonymous residence.
- You enjoy nature and want it around you daily.
- You value calm communication, kindness, and reliability.
- You are willing to participate in community life, each according to ability.
Who this is probably not for
- You want a fully serviced resort with staff handling everything.
- You prefer complete independence and little contact with neighbors.
- You avoid conflict by disappearing, or create it by dominating.
- You see this as a real-estate investment rather than a place to live.

The process
- First conversation — message + a relaxed call.
- Written application — your story, motivations, needs, and what you would bring.
- Trial stay — spend time with us; see how daily life feels, both ways.
- Longer stay — deeper integration into community life.
- Membership decision — collective, explicit, documented.
